Apron

This is what I've been up to, dressing up the coat rack. No, just kidding. I wanted a girlie apron to cook in so my sister Amy let me use a pattern she had for one and I made this. It was pretty fun to sew, I learned how to "gather".... that is a nifty trick! Anyhow, it sure is nice having some extra time to fill with hobbies again. I'm a gonna make another on but without the bib! Hope everyone is doing well. Love you guys, becky m. ross

Shiloh came up for the weekend.. she is in so cal from mississippi for a month. we had a great time went to tahoe hiking, and took the dogs... zoolander did great. he doesnt need a leash or anything and never wandered away. much different than kansas who would be long gone if not on a leash... cant wait for alaska! 3 weeks till we leave!

we hiked up to a little lake the views were amazing... it would have been great if i didnt sprain my ankle in the process of coming back down.....

All Done...Finally

I finished the last requirement for my masters degree. I had to give my masters project defense in front of my advisor and reader and anyone else who wanted to attend. All of my friends came out in support and so did my wonderful husband. I was happy to see Dave didn't even read his book during the boring math nerd talk! It went relatively painlessly, I was able to answer the questions that were posed and was able to present my paper and work well. Now its time to enjoy summer!! Maybe it'll stop raining up here so we all can get on with that enjoying summer part!!

Sunny Day!

Well we FINALLY had a couple of sunny days and really enjoyed them! Looking forward to the family coming up and hoping everyone is doing well.

Here's a frame we built for a guy in North East Portland. It's going to be his shop. The big building in the background is part of the junior college Becky's teaching at this summer.

Everything else is pretty much the same here. We saw Mason Jennings last light with Zach and Liz (go Ducks) and I got hit by a car on my ride home from work today (my bad and just scratches on my bike and I).

hiking at donner lake

a couple weekends ago rhonda (brians little sister) her friend kellie and i went hiking at donner lake. heres some pics...

well were all moved in to the house, and the dogs love it. its been crazy around here, between working, being sick and moving... and now on to planning a trip to alaska. thanks to caroline planning a wedding hasnt been too bad from this side! just thought id give a little update from this side. we love you all! cant wait to go to alaska....
