hiking

Brian and I took the dogs on a hike last week... beatiful trail, although the weather could have been nicer, it was in the high 80s and no breeze at all! but we all survived! haha.. kansas barely, she isnt much for the outdoors sometimes! Im proud of myself for surviving! it was 10 miles round trip and not the easiest trail but the views were amazing and worth it!

Updates

Hello from the middle of Illinois!

:) Billy and I made it here last Wednesday and have been settling in just fine. We aren't in Seattle anymore Todo! It's a whole new world here! Hahaa.... This is a picture of our truck and car tow somewhere in eastern Wyoming.

And this could be a picture of either Idaho, Wyoming, Nebraska, or Iowa. They all look exactly like the picture shows!

And a picture of our destination (at least a part of it)---
the great state of Illinois!

Then we have some oldies but goodies....these two are from Dad and Mom's trip to the NW. We stayed with Ben and Jodi and had a great time with the kids!

This is us at coffee in Portland. Had a blast hanging out with Dave and Becky!

And this one was from our visit to see Becky
in Sacramento for Thanksgiving. :)
Sorry all these are a bit late!
Hope everyone is well. Much love to all!! Billy and Tami

David, Could you make this stool for me?

David,

I saw this stool in the National Museum of Country Living here in Ireland. It would be perfect for my bedroom. I will gladly pay you for your time and the materials. Here are some pictures that I took to help you see what I want. Sorry they didn't turn out as well as I hoped but it was pretty dark in the museum. I just had a brainstorm :) could you make two stools; one for Dad and one for me with our names, Mom and Dad, on our own.
Love,
Mom

Some photos from Ireland

We are having a grand time here in Ireland, so we are. We have toured with Michael and Becky Stewart for the most part. Our home base is at Michael's families home in Dublin. They have a large home with plenty of room for all 6 of us (the Stewarts have two children ages 5 and 3). Grandma Stewart took care of the children last week week while Dad and I went with Michael and Becky to Northern Ireland and to the West. We did see the oldest wiskey still in the world among all the old buildings, castles, beautiful country side and more. We stayed with 3 different Irish families in our travels. What a treat to live with the locals while we are here. Dad and I walked around Dublin today (the first day we went off on our own. Even though we enjoyed being together in Ireland, we got lost so many times. We did get to have coffee at the student union coffee shop at Trinity College (built in the 1400's), bought some calendars to give to you all and saw Dublin Castle (built in the 1100's). Some of the things we went to see were closed. The weather has been beautiful for this time of year. It is raining now, only the second time since we got here. We will be flying home on Wednesday and will call you all later this week. We love you, Mom and Dad.
