Dodgers!

Happy on bus for about 5 minutes, then the panic set in.
Sold out game. Got in line after first inning for a beer and Dodger Dog. I got one thinking I'd just go back later. WRONG. People would be gone from their seats for two innings standing in those lines. Mike was smart and got two Dodger dogs in the first place.

Hey Guys! Just wanted to say hello! We got to go to opening day this week! Plan was to take the train to Union Station in LA and get on the "Dodger Express" bus to the stadium . We left at 10am and all was going well until we got on that VERY WRONGLY NAMED BUS! It was snailing along in stopped traffic for about a half an hour before we finally jumped off the dang thing and walked the 2 miles remaining to the stadium because we knew wouldn't even make the first pitch! We got there in time and had a blast! Needless to say, we shall plan to walk the 2.5 miles to and from Union Station for sure for the games. We had a blast and are excited to be here for baseball season! Hope everybody is great! Lot's of love from the LBC

Spring is here

The weather was SOOOO nice today! Eli and I took advantage of it and went for a walk and played in the front yard! Looking forward to seeing the family in Illinois this coming week! Wish me luck! Eli and are are travelling alone, and have a layover both ways! I hope he is as good at travelling in the air as he is by car!

While in Long Beach Dad, Eli and I met up with Emily Ivey for some pictures.. Eli cooperated as much as a 6 month old can... and was a trooper in spite of a bit of a fall... here are a few she posted on facebook! I cant wait to see the rest and pick a few!

Trip to Long Beach

Eli and I had a short but great trip to Long Beach! He was perfect for the drive both ways! We really enjoyed getting to see Gramps and Mike and Caroline! He also got to spend a little time playing with Eloise.. she is 11 months older than him and only a few inches taller... he outweighs her! Wish we could have spent more time! We will be flying to Illinois in April to see mom and dad, Tami, Billy and the kids.. cant wait to meet the new little guy!

Eli is getting more and more independent with his toys. He is growing up!!! And he gets annoyed with the camera always being in his face... Paparazzi is SOOOOO annoying! :-) The dogs are always very interested in what he is doing and playing wiht his toys... Zoolander pushes buttons on the electronic ones any time he gets the chance to!

6 months old!

I can't believe Eli is 6 months old! He is growing up way too fast! I took him to the picture people today for a little photo session... Here are a few of my favorites! I figured out how to upload them! yay!!

So I was going to upload recent pictures (from the last few weeks) and put them in this post, but for some reason my brain is not functioning and I can't for the life of me think of how to upload pictures to this new computer... so here are some that are somewhat recent (since January)... at least they are more recent than the november ones! sorry I havent posted recently! I went back to work and it has been very chaotic around here!!

Had a great trip to Santa Rosa last weekend. Got to see Becky and Eli and meet baby Emma Davis too! Fit in a little beer and wine tasting too, if you can believe that? We bought roof racks for our car so we can take our bikes with us more easily and really enjoyed riding through wine country. Hope all is well with everyone. Wonder if anyone will even look at this.. This blog... heavy sigh...
Oh yeah, and couple of the Dodgers game to CHLA a couple of weeks ago.. pretty cool!

Hawaii

We just got back this morning from 10 days in Hawaii. We stayed on the big island on the Kona side. Eli was not a fan of the heat or humidity so for the most part he and I stayed in the condo. We did figure out that he loves the pool! I should have guessed.... He is a big fan of taking baths as well! He also had a blast at the luau. It was the perfect evening weather. He of course did not last very long in clothes, but prefered to sport a diaper. Here are a few picutres. Hannah and Mike went with us and she always takes tons of pictures. When I get hers I will post more!
Eli and I will be driving to Long Beach on Thursday to spend 6 days. We are staying wih Jennifer Ross. It should be a good time!

Bathtime

I obviously think Eli is the cutest baby ever! He loves his bathtime... Just thought I would share a few bathtime pictures... He is starting to smile more but not at anything specific or while interacting, so I havent been able to catch one on camera YET!

We also had a quick photo session at Kiddie Kandids today. I had a coupon for $8 for some prints so I took advantage.
