Well, I went to two interviews for full-time faculty teaching positions but didn't get any job offers. I also went on 3 part-time adjunct teaching interviews and got work from 3 of them. So I will be working like crazy come fall term, I just won't be working toward tenure or receiving benefits. Thank you everyone for all the phone calls offering encouragement and support. I think that I will be learning alot this year teaching at different community colleges in the area. It'll be nice having some flexiblity regarding taking terms off here and there to do some fun things that Dave and I have been talking about.
Oh well. Tenure would have been nice but I did just barely graduate and I am still working on getting my high school teaching credential--the real final goal of all this time back in school. Love you guys! becky

I think you've got more work than you know what to do with coming up. So phooey on a tenure right now. I'm happy for you Beck. You rock. Both of those stupeys should have hired you. THEY are missing out. Love you..

That's awesome Becky! I do believe you will be running around like a chicken with its head cut off, but it will be great experience for your future and will make for a very impressive resume with lots of different schools on it! teehee... Congrats! Tami
