Big change is comin soon

Well we are setting off in less than two weeks and it is quite a big deal. Both having mixed emotions of course (mine may be a little more mixed than Mike's, if you can believe that!) Things are going well and we are set to pick up a trailer next week and leave the following Saturday. Planning on visiting Ben and family in Pullman, hopefully touching base with Dave and Becky along the way, meeting Eli and seeing Mom and Dad Ross at Becky and Brian's as well. Stopping and camping in between those planned stops along the way and arriving to Long Beach around September 18ish. Planning on heading straight to Idyllwild on Sept 21 to camp and hike San Jacinto the next day for my birthday. We are both pretty excited to be moving in to the Villa Riviera. Finally I can stop whining about that every time we drive or ride by the building! We don't start work officially til October 24, so planning on some hiking and camping beforehand. Trying to enjoy our last few weeks here in between wrapping everything up and will post some pictures of that! House still for sale. Had a little more action lately so we shall see. I think we are both trying not to secretly be happy that it doesn't sell so we can have it here in our back pocket if we come running back! Will keep you posted on that too. Might be able to subdivide out the big front acre with gravel pads and sell house and inside two acres. That way, we will have a paid off acre here to keep boat on and build summer cabin etc. Okay I'm blabbing away... Thinking of you Becky and Brian... Can't wait to hear the news! And hope you are feeling great Tami. Love you all!

Sounds like a huge transition! I vote for keeping a plot of land. Still hoping to make it up there some day! :) And hoping now that mom and dad are here, everyone will have a burning urge to visit central Illinois! :) Sounds like Beck is in labor! YAY! Eli will be here in the next day! Love to all!

Thank you for the update!! The Riviera? Nice! I do hope we get to visit you. I am so looking forward to spending time with you two when you come through here!! Keep us posted. The labor and delivery went well. Becky and Brian are tired, but so happy. Eli is beautiful! Becky will be posting pictures soon.
We love you!
