Since I figured out how to upload pictures to this computer.... Here are some more pictures from the past month... I'm pretty sure he is the cutest baby ever!!

6 months old!

I can't believe Eli is 6 months old! He is growing up way too fast! I took him to the picture people today for a little photo session... Here are a few of my favorites! I figured out how to upload them! yay!!

So I was going to upload recent pictures (from the last few weeks) and put them in this post, but for some reason my brain is not functioning and I can't for the life of me think of how to upload pictures to this new computer... so here are some that are somewhat recent (since January)... at least they are more recent than the november ones! sorry I havent posted recently! I went back to work and it has been very chaotic around here!!

Had a great trip to Santa Rosa last weekend. Got to see Becky and Eli and meet baby Emma Davis too! Fit in a little beer and wine tasting too, if you can believe that? We bought roof racks for our car so we can take our bikes with us more easily and really enjoyed riding through wine country. Hope all is well with everyone. Wonder if anyone will even look at this.. This blog... heavy sigh...
Oh yeah, and couple of the Dodgers game to CHLA a couple of weeks ago.. pretty cool!

Hawaii

We just got back this morning from 10 days in Hawaii. We stayed on the big island on the Kona side. Eli was not a fan of the heat or humidity so for the most part he and I stayed in the condo. We did figure out that he loves the pool! I should have guessed.... He is a big fan of taking baths as well! He also had a blast at the luau. It was the perfect evening weather. He of course did not last very long in clothes, but prefered to sport a diaper. Here are a few picutres. Hannah and Mike went with us and she always takes tons of pictures. When I get hers I will post more!
Eli and I will be driving to Long Beach on Thursday to spend 6 days. We are staying wih Jennifer Ross. It should be a good time!

Back to work...

It's been awhile. We started this past week... so far, so good.

Bathtime

I obviously think Eli is the cutest baby ever! He loves his bathtime... Just thought I would share a few bathtime pictures... He is starting to smile more but not at anything specific or while interacting, so I havent been able to catch one on camera YET!

We also had a quick photo session at Kiddie Kandids today. I had a coupon for $8 for some prints so I took advantage.

Apple Hill and a day at the park

Eli is growing so fast! This past week we went to apple hill with Mike Hannah and Wyatt. I was hoping to get some cute pictures but it was really cold and started raining... Next time we go hopefully we can get some cute pictures. Wyatt is definately warming up to having Eli around, he can't wait until Eli can do things with him. He is always asking if Eli is going to do whatever it is he is doing... He has been asking for a week or so now if he can take Eli to the park in the wagon with him. Yesterday we did just that. Eli of course slept through the whole adventure but Wyatt was excited to have him along. Here are some pictures from the adventure... Its a good thing Wyatt is liking having Eli around! Hannah is pregnant and due in late June or early July...

Settling in

Family from Germany in town last week, was awesome to have them over and toast my Oma who passed away last month.


Hey family! Well we are feeling more settled and moved in to our new place. We really like it! The balcony is huge and so is the apt. It's really sunny and bright, but also really breezy and cool, which is awesome, and a ten minute walk to the train stop which we will be taking for work. Big adjustment to be in the city, but we have only been here a week and already hiked Baden Powell, and camped and hiked in Idyllwild, so the trade off is pretty okay so far! We don't start work for another three weeks and are planning on doing more hiking and camping and possibly road tripping up to Portland for a few days too. Eli looks great! So glad to hear everything is going well. It was great to see the family in Sacramento! Yet another reason that this transition will be good. Well hope all is well with everyone! Great that the blog is back in action. Let's keep it that way!

Eli is 4 weeks old

Eli is 4 weeks old today! I cant believe it! We went to the cardiologist this morning for a recheck. They had his echo results from when he was in the hospital this time. The cardiologist said the EF was normal on his echo, he is still not having any symptoms of having heart issues. He still has both the holes and his valves are still "leaky", but because he isn't showing any signs of having a heart problem they are comfortable just watching him and letting him grow for now. I forgot to ask if he still thinks the holes may close on their own... But for now any interventions he may need are still quite a ways off. They did measure him today.. He is now 10 lbs 1 oz, up exactly 2 lbs from birth. I guess having Dave's appetite is working well for him. He is also 23 1/2 inches tall now. I have moved back into our room at night, Eli has been doing well sleeping in his pack n play.

First Family Photo

We had a photo shoot with a friend when Eli was just shy of 2 weeks old... overall he was very uncooperative and screamed the whole time. I should have known better than to push the issue, he had 2 doctors appts that day and then the shoot was in the evening. I figured with him being soo little he wouldnt have known the difference... but he did. I dont have all the pictures yet but thought i would share the one that i do have.. our first family picture! and I love it!!!

HAPPY BIRTHDAY NANA!!!

It's been great having everyone come through to meet Eli, but it has been a nice 2 days with just the 3 of us! We are definately adjusting to having him around. He has made it a very easy transition.... lucky for us! Here are some pictures from a little impromptu photo shoot today. We ordered these hats before he was born in hopes of having them for his newborn pictures... They arrived yesterday!
