The Esperanza, the biggest ship in Greenpeace's fleet was docked in Homer for a few days. We went out for a boat ride a few days ago and checked it out. It's been so so nice here. I hope we're not using up our sunshine now and it doesn't hang around for the Becky's wedding. Crossing our fingers. Last year this same thing happened, beautiful weather for weeks until guests started coming. Really wish Dave, Becky, Billy and Tami could make it. We were looking at pictures of the winter Ross visit to Homer and are really excited to show you the summer!
Mike put a new starter in the scout and its running great which rocks, but again makes me miss Dave and Becky :( There were a lot of photo's in the albums of that scout back then and it's great to still have it in the family. We'll see if we can hold on to it until you visit d & b!
Hope everyone is great and look forward to seeing some of you in a few weeks!

Summer's looking pretty nice up there. Wish we were coming up too! (If for no other reason than to scout about some). Becky and I were eating some tasty Halibut tacos last night and the thought occured that if Mike's working on his boat all the time and Caroline's on a walk again who's catching our halibut and smoked salmon for this year? I'm think'n maybe a little less time puttering around the harbor, rub'n hulls with green peace, and enjoying the nice weather, and a little more time out on the bay pulling up some fish.
Waiting for the big fish picture,
David T Ross
