Hi all!

We are alive.... barely. Sorry for the silence. Billy and I are trying to pack our lives into two small carry-ons and four 50 lb. check-in pieces... NOT an easy task. We are wrapping up our live in Seattle (for the time being) and are flying out Monday morning to Beijing, China (on our way to Shanghai). Not sure exactly how things will work there... if we will be able to post on this blog or not. China's internet is censored so BE GOOD CAROLINE!! :)

We don't have much of a plan now... Billy is jobless; we both are homeless; we are moving to a Communist country.... and believe it or not, neither of us are mentally unstable (although every once in a while I wonder!). Actually--- I am thrilled at the thought of our adventure (talk to me in six months when I have had it with chopsticks and bad drivers).... for now though, I am absolutely looking forward to whatever lies ahead... worse case scenario--- we run out of money before Billy finds a job, and we get to come home in a month! (who knows, by then I could be ready ;OP)

Please keep us in your prayers... I think we are going to need it.

Love you all much!

Tami (and Billy) :)

welcome to the family! go buy a digital camera so you can post pics from china. sounds like it'll be fun. are you really going to bring 200+ pounds of junk with you? here's an easy way to lighten the load: pack your 4 suitcases then throw 2 of them away (randomly, of course) and take the other 2 with you. you'll be happy you did....... you're welcome.

Go for it Billy and Tami. We will be praying. Dad and I want to visit in the spring if you are still in China. Anyone else want to come?

Good Luck overseas Tami. I look forward to postcards and pictures! :) I bet you'll have lots of stories to tell us about on the blog. Safe travels!
