Dad and I were sitting on the swing, enjoying the California evening, when we both realized it had been a couple of weeks since we had checked the family blog. We were missing everyone and were excited to see the updates. Then, oh my, we realized that our response and input had been missed. We are sorry. This is a great way to keep in touch and we don't want it to be one way. Dad says he loves you but (putting the blame on me :) he doesn't know how to blog. Hopefully I will teach him this week. He enjoys the pictures and updates as much as I do.
I am helping out at McAuliffe a few hours a week just during the transition to no Media Center Specialist. Dad has built book cases for his study. One whole wall is book cases. He even painted them the same color as the walls. I planted a few plants in the back yard. half of the petunias died and I know why but I can't tell you online... pictures to follow. Don't forget to read the comments to your previous posts.

you're not supposed to be waking up early when you're retired. but i guess you guys are new at it still. sounds like you're enjoying yourselves, thats good to hear. did the petunias die because a moose ate them? oh no wait thats all of OUR flowers.
I bet it I could somehow tie the dead petunias to global warming! Good to have you back Carol!
