This is a picture of Dave and his nephew Cody. Cody loves bubbles. We haven't been up to anything exciting lately. My mom was just here for a visit and Dave and I are in a taking it easy mode for a bit. But the berries are getting ripe so it will soon be jam making time. We already have almost 2 gallons in the freezer. We'll post some pictures of the jam makin' chaos.
The garden is going nuts with cucumbers right now. We eat all we can but have gotten so many that we have tried our hand at pickling. We have 16 quart size jars of pickles already and the cucumbers aren't slowing down yet. We've tried 2 different recipes so far and will know in about 4 weeks if the first batch was any good, 6 weeks for the second batch.

Thank you for the picture of Dave and Cody. So sweeeeet. Dad and I are juicing with our champion juicer. Cucumbers make the drink so much better.... wish you were closer. Let me know about the pickle recipes. I found some good deals on pickle cucumbers at the Arab market. Thanks again for sharing!
