Lost our camera!

So took some pictures of Mike a few days ago drilling and working on his boat. The phone rang and I had my hands full, blah blah blah..... well yesterday I realized that I couldnt find the camera when I went to post some photo's. I realized that I had put the camera on top of the subaru. I remembered thinking "you better remember to take that off" but never remembered doing so. So we figured out that we had most likely driven off with the camera on the car. So bummed. I always complain about that camera because its so ancient etc... so Mike said let's just buy a new camera. We HAVE to or no blog action. So last night we're at our friend Caroline's birthday party and my friend Anna gets a phone call from another guy we know who just happened to be at the Salty Dawg talking to some guy and in their conversation asks if he knows Mike and Caroline. Guy says no, then Wo(our friend) says they are nurses and Mike is building a boat and the guys says, wow I found a camera on East end road a few days ago and there are pictures of some dude building a boat and a picture of a black guy and i think its you! So Wo calls Anna at the party, tells her and we are picking up our camera at Kbay cafe today! Good small town story huh? So no new camera for me. But we'll be back in posting action by this evening I hope.

Its amazing that something so ancient could withstand the trauma being thrown off the car onto the road. I miss Homer. becky

I was wondering why your pictures looked kind of- oh wait, you said you just dropped it a day or so ago. I guess you are lucky to live in a small town, or maybe not ( a new camera would have been nice but you would have had to go to the big city to get one).
